Terms of Use
These terms apply to SplitCam, provided by the independent developer identified in its App Store listing. Using the app means you agree to these app-specific terms and Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), subject to mandatory law.
Capture and composition
SplitCam provides photo and video capture, split-screen and picture-in-picture composition, selected-media duet workflows, local editing, and export. Available camera combinations, recording quality, frame rates, and modes depend on device hardware, operating system, thermal state, and available storage. Results and uninterrupted recording are not guaranteed for every device or situation. Confirm that an important recording has completed and its saved copy is usable.
You retain your rights in content you create or import, subject to others' rights. Obtain any consent required to record people, voices, private spaces, or protected material. Do not use SplitCam for unlawful surveillance, harassment, infringement, or other unlawful recording or distribution. You control what you record and share.
Local media and external copies
Working media and the app gallery are stored locally. Apple Photos copies, exported files, and shared copies are separate. Deleting an app-gallery item does not remove the copy in Photos or a recipient's file. Keep verified copies of important media before removing app data, replacing a device, or troubleshooting. Gallery deletion and media/thumbnail file cleanup are separate operations and can fail; there is no guaranteed immediate erase, automatic cleanup retry or in-app Recently Deleted recovery. The app has no restorable gallery-database export/import or account-based recovery. There is no developer-held media archive. Restoring a purchase restores eligible feature access, not recordings.
Microphone and camera access and Photos saving require appropriate permissions. Denying permission limits affected functions. For details about selected imports, system backups, iCloud Photos, and support information, read the Privacy Policy.
Pro products
The current catalog includes a monthly auto-renewable subscription, a yearly auto-renewable subscription, and a lifetime non-consumable purchase. They grant Pro access to the paid features identified in the app, including supported advanced video workflows and additional app icons. Current free capture features remain available as shown in the app. Review the selected feature and plan before buying.
Apple's purchase confirmation shows the applicable price, currency, billing period, and any introductory offer. A free trial applies only if Apple confirms your eligibility and displays that offer. The offer screen states its duration and subsequent price. No trial or region-specific price is promised to every customer.
Billing, cancellation, restoration, and refunds
Apple charges your Apple Account according to the confirmed plan and any offer. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the trial or current billing period; Apple may process renewal during the final 24 hours. Access follows verified expiry and revocation information from Apple. Trial access may end when canceled.
Manage or cancel in iOS Settings > your name > Subscriptions; see Apple's cancellation instructions. Deleting SplitCam or media does not cancel billing. Lifetime is a one-time purchase of the supported SplitCam Pro feature set and does not renew. It does not promise perpetual availability, indefinite support, or compatibility with every future system. Buying Lifetime does not cancel a separate existing subscription or trial.
Use Restore Purchases on the Pro screen with the Apple Account that made the purchase to check eligible access. Pending or unverified purchases do not grant access until verified. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies and applicable law; see Apple's refund instructions. Pro feature access can end after expiry, refund, or revocation; the app does not intentionally delete saved gallery items solely because Pro ends.
License, availability, and rights
The developer or its licensors own the app software, design, and supplied materials. Apple’s Standard EULA governs the app license, relevant warranty and liability provisions, termination, and governing law. These terms supplement that license. If app-license provisions conflict, the Standard EULA applies, subject to mandatory law.
Software may contain errors, and platform or device changes can affect availability and compatibility. Nothing here excludes or limits rights, warranties, remedies, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited in your country.
Changes and questions
We may update these terms to reflect app changes or applicable requirements. The date above identifies the current version; additional notice or agreement will be provided when required. Contact captainlongevity@gmail.com for support or legal questions.
