Overview

SplitCam (hereinafter referred to as "the App") is a dual-camera split-screen camera application developed and operated by an independent developer. We understand the importance of personal privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the App.

1. Information We Collect

Short Answer: None.

SplitCam does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information. Specifically:

• No collection of names, emails, phone numbers, or other identity information
• No collection of device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV, etc.)
• No collection of location data
• No collection of usage behavior or analytics data
• No third-party analytics SDKs (such as Firebase, Google Analytics, etc.)
• No advertising SDKs

2. Device Permissions

The App requires the following device permissions to function properly. All permissions are used solely for core app features:

📷 Camera Access

Used for simultaneously capturing photos and recording videos with both front and rear cameras. All captured content is processed locally on your device and is never uploaded to any server.

🎙 Microphone Access

Used for recording audio during video capture. Audio data is stored only in local video files.

🖼 Photo Library Access

Used to save captured photos and videos to your system photo library, and to import videos in Duet mode. We do not read or access any other content in your photo library.

3. Photo and Video Data

All photos and videos captured using SplitCam:

• Are stored only in your device's local photo library
• Are never uploaded to any cloud server
• Are not used by the App for any other purpose
• Are entirely under your control and management

4. Subscriptions and Purchases

SplitCam offers in-app subscriptions (Pro version) to unlock advanced features. Regarding subscriptions:

• All payments are processed through Apple's App Store. We cannot access your payment information (credit card numbers, Apple ID passwords, etc.)
• Subscription status is managed by Apple's StoreKit framework
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
• After the free trial period ends, the subscription will auto-renew unless you cancel before the trial period ends

5. Third-Party Services

SplitCam does not integrate any third-party data collection services, including but not limited to:

• Advertising platforms (no ads)
• Analytics tools (no tracking)
• Social media SDKs
• Crash reporting services (only Apple's built-in crash reporting is used)

6. Data Security

Since SplitCam does not collect or transmit any user data, there is no risk of data breaches. All captured content is processed and stored locally on your device, protected by iOS system-level security.

7. Children's Privacy

SplitCam does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. Since the App does not collect any user data, it is suitable for users of all ages.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we modify this Privacy Policy, we will post the updated version on this page and update the "Last Updated" date. We recommend that you review this policy periodically to stay informed.
